<div itemprop="description">O’BRIEN, Mervin “Mike” <br>1940 - 2016 <br>Passed peacefully with his family on Sunday, September 11, 2016, at the age of 76. <br>Loving husband of Marilyn for 49 years, devoted father of Gregory (Jennifer) and Trevor (Flora). Beloved grandfather of Evan and Brenlin. <br>Dearly loved brother of Eileen, Shirley, Brenda, Pat, Linda, Wayne and predeceased by Velma and Winston. <br>Mike will be profoundly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. <br>Mike lived his life to the fullest. His hockey life started at 5 skating on rivers and outdoor rinks in Carillion, Quebec and culminated in playing for the Lachine Maroons of the QMJHL. A life-long passion, he took hockey trips all over the world including Austria, Scandinavia, Hawaii and Australia. <br>His professional life spanned 38 years at Bell Canada.
