On Thursday May 5th, 2016, Pam’s battle with leukemia finally came to an end.
Her strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and the love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters carried her through 8 months of chemotherapy treatments. She passed away peacefully at the Ottawa General hospital at the age of 56.
Pam was born on June 18, 1959 in Sarnia, Ontario to William and Dorothy Savage.
Pam was a loving wife of Lloyd Widdis for 25 years, a devoted mother of Colin Jeffrey Widdis and Paige Alyse Widdis, and a beloved sister of John Savage.
Pam will be deeply missed by family, colleagues, and friends.
The family would like to thank all those who have supported them during this battle with love, prayers, food, and other forms of help.
A Celebration of Life Service for Pam will be held on Sunday May 22nd, 2016 at 3:00 PM at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 971 Woodroffe Ave, Ottawa, ON.
Memorial donations may be made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or the Cancer Research Society
