<div itemprop="description">MAHANEY, Michael A<br>(1943-2016)<br> <br>On the evening of August 25, 2016, Michael "Mickey/Mike" A. Mahaney, CD peacefully passed away comforted by his family members at the Queensway Carleton hospital at the age of 73. He was born in Saint John, NB on March 20 1943, oldest son of the late Audrey Mahaney (nee Wright) and George Campbell. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife, Mary (nee Smith), his daughter Kelly, his sons Michael (Kristal) and Sean. Proud grandfather of Ariana, Zoe, Kailey, Brianna, Brody, Olivia, Magdelene and his loyal dog, Buddy; all who will dearly miss him. Mickey will be sadly missed by Aunt Bernice Nichols and Aunt Shirley Mullet; his stepbrother John Campbell; from Windsor brother-in-law Wesley (Cecile) and sisters-in-law Patricia (Roger), Carol (Edward), Karen (Phillip). He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and all who knew and loved him. Mickey is predeceased by his parents; three brothers Stewart, Danny (Lois) and Patrick; and stepfather James Mahaney. Mike served in R.C.A.F and the R.C.R., which allowed him to travel Canada and Europe, and as a Peace Keeper in Cyprus. After leaving the forces, Mike worked for C.S.E. until his retirement.
