ROBERTS, Lynn Marston "Robbie"
(1935 – 2016)

passed away peacefully in his sleep while at home, Saturday morning, December 24, 2016, at the age of 81. Loving husband of Odette Roberts (nee Derouin) of 53 years. Devoted loving father of Stephen, Michael, and John. Cherished grandfather of Brandon, Alicia, Spencer, Nicholas and Michelle, and beloved brother of Muriel F. Roberts. Lynn is predeceased by his parents Warren and Gladys. He will be deeply missed by his family, grandchildren, extended family, and friends; especially his lifelong friend Doug Parker, whom he met in the Air force. The family would like to thank all the extended family and friends for their support during this trying period. Robbie, as his friends remember him, enjoyed getting together with friends and family to play cards and share a meal. Dad could always be counted on to help out with lawn cutting, gardening, and other maintenance around our homes. He was a big fisherman and later in life he continued to hunt with his friends and most recently his best friend Doug Parker. A Mass in Memory of Lynn “Robbie” will be celebrated at St. Martin de Porres Church (3891 Old Richmond Rd) on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to Notre Dame Cemetery, at a later date. Memorial donations to the Lung Association are appreciated.
